Well here’s the secret. You need an egg ring. With an egg ring you have the ability to make one perfectly round pancake or several perfectly round pancakes.
What you want to do is:
1. Spray each of your rings with a non-stick cooking spray.
2. Heat the pan up to your desired cooking temperature.
3. Set your egg rings inside of your pan.
4. Pour in your choice of pancake batter.
5. Once your pancake has cooked to where you are seeing bubbles on the top, you can remove your egg ring and flip your pancake over. You can also just flip the egg ring with the pancake still in it.
Do not forget that with each pancake you make, you must spray your egg rings with the non-stick spray so that they do not stick when you try to remove them.
Other great ways you can make pancakes with the egg ring includes:
1: Try pouring only a little bit of pancake batter into your egg ring. Let it cook for about sixty seconds. Then put in your choice of fresh fruits. Top that off with more pancake batter. After you see the bubbles flip your egg ring. Kid’s really love this.
2: You can also make your own version of the Mcgriddle. Pour a bit of batter into your egg ring. Add some pre-cooked, chopped bacon, cheese and scrambled egg. (Scrambled egg works better cause it takes up less room.) Dab a bit of syrup into it and top off with more batter. Once you see the bubbles flip.
3: Make a pineapple upside-down pancake. Drain a can of pineapple rings, take some of the liquid and put it into your batter. Set a pineapple ring inside your egg ring and smply pour your batter on top of it.
4: For chocolate chip pancakes, sprinkle some mini chocolate chips on the top of your batter wait till you see the bubbles and flip.
5: Want a veggie style pancake. Pour in a little batter top that off with some mozzarella cheese and spinach. Pour a little more batter over that. Flip when they are ready. These make for great snacks or party favors.
6: You can also make potato cakes by making your favorite potato cakes recipes and cooking them in the same way that is mentioned above.
